Stocklore Wizard of the Forrest ShCM (Merlin)

Merlin is the 4th LUA Dalmatian to enter Europe and the first male.  Bred by geneticist Dr. Robert Schaible, in the USA, he is jointly owned by ourselves and Barbara Petronio and Leonardo Valenti in Italy.  From the age of 4 months he lived in Italy, until six months after his satisfactory rabies antibody test, but he is now living with us in Leicestershire.

He is stunning looking boy with excellent construction and free movement and a lovely temperament.  We are so excited about having him here.  He will play such an important part in helping to put the normal uric acid gene back into Dalmatians and in preventing stone forming in our lovely dogs.

His parents are Champion Stocklore Stalwart and Champion Vilia de Forrest.  He has a full dentition and bilateral hearing.  He was one of seven all with bilateral hearing.  His dam was one of six, all with bilateral hearing.  His sire is bilateral and was one of six, of which five were bilateral and one unilateral.  He carries one copy of the normal uric acid gene.  He has been hip and elbow scored (see below).  He is also DNA profiled and does not carry the lemon gene.

Merlin will be available to approved hearing tested and hip scored bitches.

Frozen semen is available to overseas breeders.

Dalstorm Black Diamond of Tyrodal

Harry is the most delightful friendly and outgoing character you could wish to meet.  He is the LUA brother of my beautiful Jasmine.  He has only been lightly shown, but has lovely construction and movement.  He has already sired two large litters, both with all puppies having bilateral hearing.

Dalstorm Diamond Ice

Gandalf is the like a loveable clown.  When he was exactly 6 months old he went to his first show and was best puppy in breed, reserve best of breed and 1st in the Utility puppy group.  Since then he has lived happily with my co-owners in Surrey and has not been shown, but he undoubtedly has excellent construction to go along with his gorgeous sweet temperament. He is one of a litter of 11, all with bilateral hearing.

Dalstorm Diamond Rock

Rocky is litter brother to Gandalf.  He is slightly smaller in build but has is very balanced with excellent pigment.  His owners tell me that he has the loveliest temperament of any dog they have ever owned.  He has sired one litter of 10 puppies all with bilateral hearing.
